Hours and Admission
Fall 2018 Hours
Through December 20, 2018, the Center will be open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.,
with the exception of the week of November 19 when we will be closed for Thanksgiving.
The Center will offer special Saturday hours on December 1 from 10 a.m. - noon and on December 15 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
The Center will be closed for the holidays and special projects from December 21 through January 31.
Spring 2019 hours will be announced soon.

Museum tour offerings may be limited due to special projects, and research appointments are recommended.

Research Library and Archive Admission Fees:
Students (K-college): Free
Active-duty military families: Free
Law enforcement & correctional officers: Free
South County History Center Members: Free
If you would like to conduct research at the South County History Center, please fill out our research request form (click here) or contact us at least one week in advance to schedule a research appointment.
Research appointments also may be available on days when the Center is normally closed.

If you are interested in a tour for six or more people at the South County History Center, please contact us at least one week in advance.
The historic Old Washington County Jail has many staircases and unfortunately is not handicapped-accessible.
