In order to best serve researchers and visitors,
the Center requires advance appointments for all visits.

Appointments are free and open to the public; donations are appreciated!

The Center offers three appointment types:

  • Exhibit Visit (Self-Guided): Please choose this 60 minute appointment if you would like to view the Center’s current exhibits. This appointment is for up to 8 visitors. Visits are self-guided. Note: the Center's historic building is not handicapped-accessible. Access to archival materials and the research library will not be available during exhibit visits, and staff assistance may be limited.

  • Library Visit: Choose this appointment to visit the Center's library, which contains bound/print materials, subject files, periodicals, and publications. This 60 minute appointment is limited to two people. Access to archival materials will not be available during this appointment, and staff assistance may be limited. If you require staff assistance and/or access to archival materials, please instead select "Research Appointment."

  • Research Appointment: Please choose this appointment type if you would like to schedule a research appointment to access to archival materials and/or consult with our staff about your research. Appointments are for 90 minutes and up to two people. To ensure the best visit, please fill out a Research Request Form at least 1 business day before your visit.
